Welcome to WomenKind Australia Inc., where our mission is to empower women, foster inclusive communities, and promote gender equality. Founded in 2020 WomenKind is a dynamic and passionate organisation dedicated to creating a brighter future for women in the Noosa area and beyond.

Our Journey:

Our journey began with a vision — a vision to empower women to reach their full potential in both their personal and professional lives. We recognised the need for a supportive community that could uplift and inspire, a place where women could come together to connect, share, and grow.

Over the years, WomenKind has evolved into a powerful force for positive change, driven by the dedication of our founder, Josanne Falla, and the unwavering commitment of our members. What started as a dream has become a vibrant reality, impacting the lives of countless women.

Our Three Pillars:

WomenKind is built upon three core pillars that define our purpose:

Connection: 

We believe in the power of genuine connections. Through monthly breakfasts, workshops, speakers, and mentorship programs, we bring women together on a deeper level. We create roots with a bond of love, knowledge, and a sense of belonging.

Community: 

We are more than an organisation; we are a sisterhood. WomenKind is a safe and inclusive community where women share their stories, exchange ideas, and support each other without judgment or discrimination.

Caring: 

We are committed to looking after our women and families. WomenKind has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local organisations dedicated to supporting women facing homelessness, providing counselling services, and assisting victims of abuse.

Our Achievements:

In just three years, WomenKind has brought together hundreds of women and made a profound impact on our community. Our inaugural Noosa Mayor's ball raised $280,000 for critical counselling services in the Noosa Shire, and our dedication to women's empowerment led to the creation of the book "Women Inspired," showcasing the incredible stories of women we've encountered.

Josanne's passion is to connect, empower, and encourage women from all walks of life to become the best versions of themselves and pursue their dreams. Her dedication has left an indelible mark on the Noosa community, inspiring women to reach for their full potential.

Having set up a 3-hour weekly program called “Celebrating Women” where Josanne met many local inspiring women who told their stories of hardship, pain and passion. Josanne wanted a way to take the women’s stories and capture them in a tangible form. She decided that a book would be a worthy way of showcasing the brilliant women she had met and sharing their stories. This book, “Women Inspired” was created during Covid-19 and is now in its 3rd edition.

Clare Stewart made history by becoming the first female Mayor of Noosa Shire Council, elected in the 2020 Local Government elections.

A former barrister, Clare is also an accomplished author, nationally accredited mediator, keynote speaker, and a devoted wife and mother. In 2013, Clare authored "Standing On My Own Two Feet," an autobiographical account of a life-altering accident she experienced in 2000. In 2017, she launched "Dear Molly," an online women's network platform that inspires, informs, and connects women globally.
